1. Synchronous session – Learning happens in real time through teleconference (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet)
2. Asynchronous session – Learning Management System (e.g. Aralinks, DISAT, Google Classroom) is utilized for e-teaching and e-learning processes and activities.
Modular session - Module (e.g. My Distance Learning Buddy Module) is the main basis of the discussion based on the most essential learning competencies.
It combines the terms “hybrid” and “flexible" that integrates complementary face-to-face (synchronous) and online learning (asynchronous) experiences in service of intended learning objectives and are expected to undergo the same combination of online and in-person activities.
All sections of each year level have the same subject at the same time.
Classes begin with the expert teacher who usually flashes through a projector/LED TV a learning activity sheet which includes concept notes, exercises, dills, drawings, themes and essays which are handwritten by the students on the Learning Activity Sheets.
All daily activities including quizzes and exams are compiled in the in-school comprehensive student portfolios.
Strategic Studies are during Wednesdays. The MAPEH teachers will lead the exercises and practicum -supervising certain activities like playing, cooking, painting, rosary making, lantern making, etc.
Culminating activities are set every Wednesdays. From Monday to Friday, students answer simple, attainable specific activity sheets. The policy behind is the learning by doing, discovery approach, problem solving and active not passive learning. The designs of learning activities are concept notes (introductory material), example/ illustration, vocabulary words, and questions problems or exercises.
